Simply Local Knitted Mitts
These fingerless mittens were designed to celebrate the gorgeous wool produced by Sheep that live near our shop! Eggington and Great Brickhill.
The wools are from 2 different flocks of sheep – the darker colour wool comes from a flock of Jacobs sheep – otherwise known as Spotted Sheep so, of course we had to have it!
These fingerless mitts fit an average size woman’s hand.
The pattern is a perfect beginner fairisle knitting project. 4mm needles required.
I haven’t tested it yet, but some customers have said that you can get 2 pairs from this kit, one mainly dark with light and the other reversing the colours.
The kit contains 2 balls of wool and the pattern.
