Amigurumi crochet is worked in the round, either in rounds where you slip stitch at the end of the round or in a continuous spiral.
2 Tips that I hope will help you create the look you want!
1) Make a note of rounds as you complete them, a simple 1✔️ 2✔️ 3✔️and so on will make sure you are following the pattern properly
2) Mark the beginning of each round with a stitch marker, this can be a purpose made stitch marker or even something really simple like a strand of yarn in a completely different colour – try it – it really does make your life easier!!
