Ladies Garment Inspiration Gallery

As our shiny new website and online shop are both still a learning curve to us we thought we would have ‘Inspiration’ Galleries on here!

On these galleries you will find lots of photos of the many sample garments and items that we have in the shop!

If you are local, feel free to pop into the shop and try on any item that appeals!

Contact us and we can help you with the pattern and yarn for you to order the project!

Made with Adriafil Mistero Chunky, a 53% wool and 47% acrylic blend. The colours and feel of this yarn inspired me to make this lovely versatile cardigan / jacket, perfect for popping on with tailored trousers, a neat skirt and equally at home with jeans.

Difficulty rating *** Intermediate

For the crocheters among us, here is a cardigan that we made using Stylecraft Linen Drape dk. The pattern looks harder than it is and the yarn makes this into a summer cardigan that finishes off so many outfits. This pattern would easily lend itself to any standard double knit yarn and would work very well with a wool or wool blend yarn.

Difficulty rating **** Advanced

This is is our Weekend Sweater, designed to be made in a weekend and perfect for slipping on with a pair of jeans at the weekend.

A simple, easy knit that produces a really wearable sweater, wear on its own or layer up over a longer top.

Made with 2 balls of Noro Kotori (more for larger sizes).

Difficulty rating ** Advanced Beginner

This is the cotton version of the Weekend Sweater. It is worked in Wool & the Gang Billie Jean and gives this design a different look and feel.

Difficulty rating ** Advanced Beginner

To avoid sewing in lots of ends we used Hayfiels Spirit dk, a variegated yarn and we feel it works really well and to avoid the stripy sleeves we used James Brett Merino dk for the sleeves.

A modern, fresh take on a granny square.

Difficulty rating ** Advanced Beginner
