Everything you require will be included for you to use and take home with you.
You will learn how to make a slip knot, a chain, double and treble crochet stitches
and depending on time, even more!
Learn a new skill which is very relaxing when you’ve learnt and make something fabulous, perhaps even a new blanket to proudly leave over the sofa to show off your talents.

FRIDAY 5th April, 1.00 – 4.00pm LEARN TO KNIT.
Everything you require will be included for you to use and take home with you.
You will learn how to make a slip knot, cast on, knit, purl and cast off. The class also includes a pattern for a pair of fingerless mittens, so you will learn how to follow a basic pattern to make an first achievable project.

FRIDAY 12th APRIL, 1.00-4pm KNITTING IN THE ROUND, Including Magic Loop.
Learn how to use Circular needles to open up the opportunity for many patterns, including magic loop, which utilises long circular needles to make projects of all sizes.

WEDNESDAY 17th APRIL, 1 – 3pm. GRANNY SQUARE CROCHET
So you can complete a chain and a UK Treble in crochet, but want to learn how to do granny squares and other shapes? This is the class for you! You will need some wool, preferably 2 colours of the same weight and the appropriate crochet hook of your choice.

FRIDAY 19th APRIL, 1 – 4pm BASIC SEWING
By popular request, a basic sewing course by a number of customers who have never had chance to learn this useful life skill. Sewing on buttons of different types, press studs, hooks and eyes, repairing a seam, perhaps because you’ve caught it on a drawer! (like I do!), and hemming a garment. Includes everything you require plus a small kit to take away.

FRIDAY 26th APRIL, 1 – 4pm. KNITTING WITH BEADS.
Learn to knit with beads to decorate different garments and home accessories and anything you wish! Beads will be included.

If you wish to take a class but these classes are not convenient, please email the shop, stating what you are interested in and when you would prefer it and we will take this into account when we are arranging further classes.
We are also trying to ascertain interest in providing classes for Fair Isle Knitting, Magic Loop knitting, Knitting in the round (both with Dpns and circular needles), Lace knitting, Beaded knitting, Knitting Cables & Bobbles, Refresher knitting courses, Brioche Knitting, etc. as well as Corner2Corner Crochet, etc. If you are interested in taking any of these, please contact the shop as above giving appropriate details.
