Life dk by Stylecraft RRP £4.25 Plains, £4.50 Nepps

Life DK is a luxurious yet practical yarn, available in a wide choice of colours. With a mix 25% wool with 75% premium acrylic, the yarn soft and supple, as well as being easy on the hands to work with.  Life Dk comes in flat colours and also colours with a ‘fleck’ which Stylecraft call a Nepp. This option is very popular if you want more than a flat colour, but don’t want a patterned yarn.

Each 100g ball is knitted, or crocheted using 4mm needles or hooks, and has 298metres.

As the tension is 22stitches to 30 rows when knitted in stocking stitch using 4mm needles, the yarn is suitable for most double knitting patterns, though you may have to adjust your needle size up or down if your tension is different.

It is machine washable at 40° and can be dried in tumble dryer on a cool setting.
