Rico 1106 Ladies Top, Shawl & Layering Sweater

These are knitted using Rico Creative Lazy Hazy Summer Cotton which is a beautiful double knit weight yarn with a meterage 145 metres.

The sleeveless top is knitted combining a very fine mohair and the double knit, which are knitted together, although the mohair can be omitted as it is just for the ‘fluffy’ finish.

The sweater is knitted sideways in the body, so making it a more interesting garment to both make and wear.  It has a more modern feel and is reminscent of Erika Knight’s Aran weight Sussex Square.
