This Rico Cotton based Double Knit weight yarn is fabulous.  Each 100g ball has 250 metres, with a content of 75% Cotton, 13% Acrylic and 12% Wool.  Rico suggests that it is knit or crocheted on 3.5mm or 4mm needles or hooks, which gives a tension of 22 stitches and 30 rows over 10cms/ 4″.  They also suggest that it is hand washed.  We have knitted Pattern 1197 which is a top down short sleeved sweater and it is fabulous! Hayley has already knitted 2 for herself; once in a plain yarn and once in the Rainbow colourway.
