Shawlie by Sirdar


is a NEW lovely, fine, feather-light shawl yarn by Sirdar.

The yarn colours were inspired by flowers of 6 plants found in many English gardens – delphinium, honesty, hydrangea, tea rose, chrysanthemum and of course peony.

The colours gently amble through the yarn to give a subtle stripe effect.

The yarn has 10% wool and 10% alpaca blended with 80% acrylic and has a tension of 25 sts and 32 rows to 10cm /4” on 3.75mm needles.

Each 100g ball has 450m and can be machine washed at 40 degrees.

As the name suggests all the supporting patterns are for knitted wraps, shawls and a cowl (see photo gallery or tap a photo below) but that left no inspiration for the crocheters, so we have designed a Shawlie crochet wrap
