If you’re looking for an unusual yarn then Ushuaia certainly falls into that category.

It is a thick and thin yarn that is woven slightly more than a roving yarn. Each ball comes in a stunning blend of warm earth tones to give a gentle overall effect that is flattering to the skin.

Each 100g ball consists of 85metres of yarn made from 53% virgin wool and 47% acrylic, the ball band tension is 8 stitches and 11 rows on 10mm needles.

So, what to do with this yarn……….

We have made a modern waistcoat pattern that takes from just 2  balls to make, it is quick, simple and soooo wearable – just pop it over a crisp white shirt or t-shirt for an extra layer of warmth with instantly style.

This knitting pattern is FREE with the yarn , just choose how many balls you need for your size and the pattern will be automatically included.

Small, size 10-12…..2 balls

Medium, size 14 – 16….. 3 balls

Large, 18-20….4 balls

15mm needles, preferably 40cm straight or 40cm or longer circular.
