Chunky Softie Scarf

A perfect project for someone that has learned to knit and wants a project a little above beginner level or if you just want a quick project that is perfect for tv knitting!

The scarf is designed to fill in the gap in your coat or jacket to keep you lovely and warm, obviously if you want to make the scarf longer just add an extra ball and keep knitting, allowing enough yarn for the garter stitch edging rows.

We made the scarf from 1 ball of Stylecraft Softie Chunky 170m as the touch of alpaca makes it so much warm and soft, but any standard chunky yarn can be used.

The pattern comes with picture instructions showing how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off.

The pattern is for a 1 ball scarf which measures 90 cm long and 20cm wide, obviously if you would like to make it longer simply buy another ball and carry on knitting!
