Katia 81504 Scotch Tweed Aran Knitted Bag.

This messenger bag is knitted in Katia Scotch Tweed Aran weight yarn, and is a useful addition to any wardrobe.

The 2 colours used can be mixed to tone or contrast, but, however, you make it, it is a simple construction.

It is knitted in garter stitch for the body and base, thus making it a solid and firm bag.  The flapover gives it a modern yet useful look, as the bag is big enough to fit your phone, purse, ipad and lots of other requirements in, whether for a day at the office or a trip around the shops.

The strap has been crocheted, but you can always knit it, making it the length you require yourself.

It uses 4 balls in the main colour, and 1 ball in the alternative stripe, each ball having a meterage of 95 metres.

Needles required are 3.5mm and a 4mm crochet hook is also used, along with a button to fasten the bag.
