Nothings says Spring is here more than the fresh, crisp colours of this season, and, of course, an Egg is an eternal sign of new life, so it seemed obvious to combine these.

I like to make a Spring display, an Easter ‘tree’ , a mix of small branches that I find in the garden

or while I’m out walking, anything that is bursting into life!

Then I add hand made eggs and decorations, this is always a sure sign of Spring in the house.

The pattern is knitted flat and then seamed, there is a basic egg pattern without pattern, then there are variations for you to choose from:

Striped Egg, Simple Fairisle Egg, ZigZag Fairisle, Spring Flowers and Gingham.

OR

12 balls Varied Colours of Ricorumi and a printed pattern ( you will get all 12 colours shown in the photos)

Or the pattern is available to purchase on its own either printed or as an instant download.

You just need to add stuffing and 3.25mm needles.

If you are working to a specific colour scheme then simply choose from the massive

 Ricorumi dk  

range, but also any dk yarn will work and they are made on 3.25mm needles
