Little Treasures Sleeveless Cardigan / Gilet

This super easy little sleeveless cardigan / gilet has NO SEWING UP & NO PICKING UP!    It is perfect for popping over clothes when chilly in either summer or winter.

The smaller size has a mock cable detail in between the eyelet panels. The larger size doesn’t have these, but they can be added if you wish. (Instructions are on the pattern.)

It comes in 2 sizes which are 1-3 years, ( 20-22″), length 14″  and 4-6years, (24-26″), length 16″      We made it using King Cole Little Treasures  which is a standard double knit yarn which has 320 metres per 100g.   Please note that for the small size we used 110g, (approx 350m), so you will need 2 balls, UNLESS you make it slightly shorter. For the large size, you will require 2 balls.  If you wish to use a different yarn, please check the meterage, especially if you are wanting to make the small size!  PLEASE NOTE…  The pattern is knitted from the TOP DOWN, so it will be easy to make it a little shorter, or longer!
