What can we say?

It’s a standard Double Knit yarn, with 40% Wool, has a massive 350 metres and knits and washes beautifully.

ReCreate is a blended yarn that is made entirely from recycled products. The yarn lends itself to beautiful stitch definition with strong cabling, lace detail and texture stitches all featured in the designs.

As many of you know, we like to knit and / or crochet then wash each yarn we stock to ensure it produces the results you want.  3 garments knitted already, (so it must be good!) and we are thinking what to crochet with it, so watch this space!  the Tanktop / Slipover / Vest is Stylecraft 9857 and uses 3 or 4 balls of your choice, and can be made with a V or a round neck, to match your preferred choice.

  The Recycling Recreated Wrap is a Spotted Sheep design

and uses 1 ball of 3 different colours, giving you a fabulous choice of looks depending what you choose.

Mirasol have a beautiful knitting pattern for a single colour cowl, available here, which we thought would look amazing made in Recreate yarn. It turned out to be a perfect choice, as it shows off both the wool and the stitches.
