Amitola Knitted Small Shawl

Simple Amitola Shawl to introduce Lace knitting

This simple shawl uses just 1 ball of Louisa Harding Amitola.

This is a lovely, soothing project that is a perfect introduction to lace knitting both in technique (knitting holes) and in construction, because you start knitting it from the nape of the neck and work outwards and downwards.

The instructions are clear and easy to follow, so no need to panic, and the pattern is FREE with 1 Ball of the yarn.

It might sound a bit scarey, but honestly it isn’t at all! In fact, once you have finished your first, you will want to make more, as it’s a delightful T.V.  knit that is a perfect gift!

Our finished article is 128cms x 40 cms, so your’s should be about the same!

A yarn that’s a mix of 80% wool and 20% silk in a wide range of variegated colours, knitted on 4.5mm needles
