is one of those garments that is a cornerstone of any wardrobe.

This is a timeless yet modern simply styled edge-to-edge knitted coat that will finish any outfit, it is perfectly at home with a Polo neck sweater and tailored trousers or skirt as it is with a crisp white shirt and jeans.

The coat is simple to make and it is knitted in one piece to the armholes where it is divided. The coat is finished with everyone’s favourite feature – pockets!

Knitted in Erika Knight Maxi Wool superchunky

(But it can of course be made in any standard superchunky weight yarn – to work out how much you need simply divide the metres required for your size by the number of metres on the ball of the alternate yarn – so

if you are making the medium size that needs 800m, if the alternate yarn has 80 m on each ball you need 800 divided by 80 = 10 balls. I hope this helps )

L chest 70” / 178cm, length 36 1/4” / 92cm – 11 hanks Maxi Wool / 880m

XL chest 74” / 178cm, length 37” / 94cm – 12 hanks Maxi Wool / 960m

Additional materials: 10mm circular needle 100cm, stitch holders, large eyed sewing up needle
