Tuareg is an edgy take on a simple cardigan shape.

It is an oversized asymmetric front cardigan worked in stocking stitch and reverse stocking stitch with rib trims.

Bracelet length sleeves and patch pockets finish the garment to perfection.

This is a very loose fitting cardigan – please see measurements below!

This is an easy knit project suitable for chill out knitting advanced beginners alike.

Please note that this is a hard copy pattern and not a photocopy or a pdf

Sizes and yarn amounts in Studio Linen:

Small 130cm /51” – 9 skeins, 1,080 metres

Medium 150cm / 59” – 10 skeins 1,200 metres

Large 170cm / 67” – 11 skeins, 1,320 metres

If you wanted to make this in alternative yarn,  you would simply divide the total number of metres needed for your chosen size by the number of metres in the alternative yarn, for example;

Stylecraft ReCreate has 350 metres per ball, so for size medium – 1,200  divided by 350 = 3.42 or 4 balls

You will also need 3.75mm straight needles and a 3.75mm circular needle 80cm
