Knitted Apples Pattern £2.50/£3.00

These patterns are for 3 different sizes of Knitted Amigurumi Apples.

These apples are knitted flat, which is perfect for those who don’t want or like to knit ‘in the round.’  We have used Rico Ricorumi Cotton yarn which is a double knit yarn and is popularly used for crochet amigurumi, due to the wonderful array of colours. We stock ALL 100 colours!

If you want to make the apples bigger, then you can just use Aran weight, Chunky or even SuperChunky weight yarns and increase the needle sizes accordingly! (4mm for Aran, 5mm for Chunky and 6 or 7mm for SuperChunky.)

We used Solid Ricorumi Colours, 3mm knitting needles, toy stuffing and a sewing-up needle.  Don’t forget you will need colours for the stalk and leaf/leaves as well as the apples themselves.  Finished sizes using Ricorumi: Small – 3 x 5cm, Medium – 5 x 7cm, Large – 6 x 8cm.
