Stylecraft 9966 Crocheted Cardigans 30/32 – 46/48″
These Double Knit weight crocheted cardigans utilise the ever popular Granny Square technique.
The patterns for both the long and short versions are written in UK terms and have both written and charted instructions as well as diagrams to help you construct the finished garment from the crocheted pieces. The photos shown in the pattern are also very clear and should help if you are unsure of the pattern. You need to be able to complete a chain, double crochet stitch, treble crochet stitch, slip stitch and crochet through the back loop only.
It has been made using Stylecraft Recreate DK which we stock, although you can use another standard weight Double Knit yarn, but you will have to be aware of meterage requirements as Recreate has 350 metres, which is more than many 100g double knit yarns.
